Dug out one of my first models I've ever done. This new renderer really makes them shine.
This summer I'll be redesigning Marvin's ship from scratch, should be fun.  Cheerio!

 

The Doctor is In the House

Creepy Dr.Seuss that is!
Took me a couple of weeks on and off. wanted to sculpt his hands real creepy like.
Originally I had him just posed in a frame but found it boring. This is after all a 3d sculpt.   Cheerio!

Haunted Hearse revisited

Since these blogs get buried over time, left to rot in the Netherworld for no one to care. I thought I'd revisit an old image I made awhile back.
I had a blast animating this and I' ll be creating some more in the next few months.  Enjoy!

On a side note, Years ago as a wee little lad I was ruffling through a box of Lucky charms and  found a plastic wee little Leprechaun. Over the years I stuffed him back in a drawer and until recently found him in my closet ALIVE and gasping for air. Since then he's been a constant companion to my cat and enjoys reading my comics.
With his aid this weekend I was lucky to find some books I had been searching for years

Saturday night flashback theatre

I know, I've watched this movie a dozen times and it never gets old. It's refreshing to see empty streets and empty towns. What with the overpopulation and the F**ing invasion taking place, this world has gone soylent green.
Just have a poptart if you don't believe me. tastes like a shitty piece of moldy cardboard.
Enjoy the smell of the 70's.

The BumbleBee

Inspiration. Everyone has it once in awhile. I have it everywhere, out for a stroll, in the bathroom sitting on the Johnny b. goode. you name it.
For instance, I'm at the park minding my own beeswax, when this big ass Bumblebee comes out of nowhere and starts sniffing my crotch. Obviously trying to intimidate me to get the fuck off his land, I pause for a moment and admire the design of this creature. Great aerodynamics , Nice colors.
I swat the fucker! quickly sketch out an idea..and on to the 3d garage.
I give you ...  The BumbleBee.

Weekend ComicCon Highlights

Had a great time at this weekend's ComicCon. I've always been fortunate enough to grab some great deals on Comics, either at Flea markets or Conventions, but Cash is King and I'm no Johnny Bling Bling! I'm there for some deals, not pay through the nose with a rubber hose.
I managed all right.

Kinda creepy but nice to see some people get in the mood.

Came back with well over a hundred books to boot. Don't ask me how i made it home through the subway with all this.

                                             Batgirl issue 40 Purple Rain theme was a nice grab.
